My life has motivated and inspired most of my artistic creations. When doing art, I can express myself implicitly. Without the immediacy of words and discourse, I can express myself in my art in any way I want. My passion also motivated me. It's a hard thing to keep and continue doing art and it gets my full passion and desire that I want to make my art more complete and organized. There are tons of ideas in my brain and I want to process them out, so I have that mind and continually practice and build my art skills. I enjoy doing art. It won't be like pressure for me, instead, I'll be more willing to take the initiative to do it. I prefer painting and other materials. The processes are more pluralistic and the textures shown in the final look are always different and a surprise to me. I like the colors' connection to each other and how they work together on the artwork to each other, but I can't use them very well. On the contrary, I think I handle the black-and-white relationship much better. I enjoy creating textures and how they work together. I want to improve my use of color too, But that's not a bad thing to realize the problem now and try to improve them as soon as possible, and the skills that I'm good with can help me a lot in understanding color too. Artwork that has a lot of detail is very appealing to me. They are very detailed but not completely reproduced from references, which is why I don't think painting will ever be completely replaced by photography, which is also a good way to form art but in different ways. Artists can build on this and create very interesting art. I would love to paint with a lot of detail but I don't do it very well. I need to be patient and I hope I can improve on this in the future.  I also like very abstract artwork. Everyone has a different opinion. I hope to be able to find my artistic style throughout my four years of high school. I think it's important. I will continue to improve my skills so that I can create artwork that I am happy with and can interpret my ideas perfectly. Art doesn't happen in a day or two, I want it to be in my life for a long time, art believes in me and I believe in art too. Having photography being a part of my life as art is a brand new experience for me. Other than drawing it is much new to me. The way to create a piece is different between them, but still, they have a common in some way.  "A painter uses paint to create an image, while a photographer uses light. " Glad that I can have a chance to learn about both of them in one school year. Light becomes such an important thing while I'm taking photos, it ultimately determines my image. In painting, the decision of the light is usually mine. And photography possesses more repetitive operations. In painting, I usually focus on one piece of artwork and invest more time to show that piece of artwork as best as possible, but while taking photos is usually a matter of taking a lot of pictures and sifting through the ones that present the best. During this school year, I took almost 600 or 700 photos on my camera, and almost 20 albums on Flickr, but I only made five projects for painting this year. A very wonderful new experience! I hope I can continue to do it with passion.
